Following their attendance over the past 2 weekends at the Somerset Cricket Board's 4 day course the Club is pleased to announce and congratulate Alan Barwick and James Butcher on having successfully completed this and qualified as ECB Level 1 coaches.

This achieves the first in a series of initiatives the committee have approved in order to continue with our Club Development program and in particular our coaching provision for the Junior/Youth sections.

Despite the disappointing turnout of just 27 people it was a very enjoyable evening and a good time was had by all those who attended.

The award winners for the night were as shown below but unfortunately none of them could attend the dinner and I therefore have no pictures to share with you.

1st XI player of the year - Gary Paramore
2nd XI player of the year - James Hemming
Clubman of the year - John Beasley (club auditor)

A big thankyou goes to Paul Murphy who organised the event and to Graham Withers who controlled things on the night superbly.
