Blagdon CC

We are a friendly village club that play at the picturesque 'Bartons' in North Somerset. We field three senior teams, two on a Saturday and one on a Sunday, and also play 20 over cup matches and friendlies on a Wednesday evening. We are always on the look out for new players so if you are interested in joining us please send us an email and we'll provide you with all the information you need.

We have a thriving youth section. The fixtures and statistics for the youth teams are entered by the team managers themselves and can be found on our Play-Cricket site, which you can access by clicking the link below.

DEREK FILER
It is with great sadness that we announce that Derek Filer has passed away. Derek was a true Blagdon CC legend playing over 240 matches for the club between 1948 and 1975, when he hung up his boots and started to represent the club as an umpire. He was also the club groundsman for a number of years and was a proper clubman in general, supporting the club in many different ways. He was a lovely man and will be missed. His son Rob also played for the club for many years and his brother Martin has a daughter (Lauren Filer) who is England's premier fast bowler, so he was truly part of a cricketing family. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM
We are requesting that all youth and senior players complete the membership application form that can be accessed here before the 2025 season starts. This is because we are trying to move away from a paper based system.
