Even though the weather did it’s best to ruin the day, our match with Failand Falcons still took place.

Blagdon won the toss and put Failand into bat. Failands reputation as red hot favourites to win the league was soon appreciated as even through driving rain they managed to score a total of 293.

On a rain soaked wicket blagdon were contained for a total of 176. Blagdons best batsmen was George Gillard (11 n.o.).
