Blagdon 265 ; Portishead 250 - Won by 15 runs

We batted first and everyone did very well. Doug Gray and George Gillard started the innings with a stand of 27, George top-scoring with 13 not out. We scored 265 for 3 off 20 overs.

When we fielded Ed Williams and Will Yard got us off to a great start with 2 quick wickets and they finished with figures of 1-11 and 1-3. We pegged their batsmen back well and their highest score was 3 until the 19th over when George Parsons slashed at everything and got 13. Peter Strong, playing his first match, finished on 1-5. Portishead scored 250 for 5 and we won by 15 runs.
