The Blagdon team travelled to Cheddar and notched up another good win. Clayton Davies was captain this week and elected to bat first. He opened again with Tom Blanchard and the pair put on 19 without loss. Jack and Martyn followed and added another 11 against some tight bowling. Will Powell and Adam Martin were told not to lose their wickets and decided the best way to achieve this was to smash everything around the ground. They addded 14 without loss. Runs continued steadily with Peter, George, Alex and Patrick and Blagdon ended on 281 with the loss of only 1 wicket.

Cheddar made their intention clear when they started looking for runs straight away. However, two early wickets from Alex and Tom pegged them back a bit. They came back very strongly in the middle order until Jack Tickoo started his spell by clean bowling two batsmen. Cheddar tried countering and with two overs left were still in with a chance. But it proved too much and another 2 wickets fell as they finished with 250 for 6. Blagdon did well in all aspects against a good batting side.
