A few players were at the England / New Zealand match in Bristol but that did not deter us. Arcie Wall won the toss and elected to field.

A steady start by their opening pair was quickly undone with two quick wickets in the 5th and 6th overs. Then Wesley Cox stepped up to the crease for the third pair and got 4 wickets in 3 overs for 1 run. What a spell. Wrington needed to chase runs after that and although their 13th over saw 20 runs they could not recover and they finished on 211 for 10 wickets.

We started well with Jack and Ed putting on 18 for their opening spell. Everyone else batted well and Wrington kept up some pressure with some late wickets. Will and Archie finished very strongly to bring up 250 for 5 wickets. Overall a very enjoyable game and played in an excellent spirit.
