On a bright Sunday morning after winning the toss, Blagdon captain Tom Blanchard put Uphill into bat on a slightly damp wicket. The decision paid dividends with Uphill losing nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

The main damage was done by Blagdon bowlers Martyn Mail, Jordan Payne and Tom Blanchard who each took two wickets with some devastating bowling.

Blagdon faced some excellent bowling from Uphill and really struggled to make headway, losing several early wickets. Mark Knowlson and Adam Martin steadied the innings and it was left to Tom Blanchard and Charlie Cook to forge a two run victory in the final over.
