Blagdon won the toss and put Cleeve into bat. Blagdon used 10 bowlers and after 20 overs and with a last ball run out restricted Cleeve to 76 all out. Best bowling figures were for Jack Tickoo with a 4 wicket maiden.
Feeling confident Blagdon were in for a shock. After 2 overs we had lost 3 wickets for only 2 runs, Cleeve were going to make us work for this victory. Again the middle order pulled us back into the game with Jack Lyons scoring freely for 32 runs before being bowled in the 12th over. After 15 overs we we needed 3 runs to win but had just lost our 9th wicket. The required 3 runs, were hit by our last batsman Steve Huggins in a very tense last two overs.
