Failand won the toss and elected to bat. On a good batting wicket
Failand scored well and after 20 overs were 132 for 4 wickets, a high
total for Blagdon to chase.
With great belief and determination Blagdon batted well throughout
the whole team with the highest scorers being Doug Gray - 28, Angus
Yard – 25, and Jack Lyons 22 not out. With one ball to spare
in the last over Martyn Mail (under eleven player) hit the winning
2 runs to secure a great victory and send Blagdon into the U13’s
KO Cup Final.
